Samsung Pay: creating key pair and exporting certificate signing request

To receive payments through Samsung Pay, you need to create a key pair (private and public key) and send a certificate signing request to Samsung Pay. To create a key pair and upload a certificate signing request (which can be sent to Samsung Pay), follow these steps.

  1. In the top panel of your personal account, select Administration> Certificates> Samsung Pay Certificates.
  2. To generate a key pair, in the Work with keys section, click the Generate key pair button.
  3. In the window that appears, configure the settings referring to the table below.

    Use Latin characters when filling out the form.


    Configuration Description
    Encoding algorithm Select item ECC (cryptography based on elliptic curves).
    Common Name (CN)
    Common name
    Enter the full domain name of your site, for example, test.com.
    Organization Unit (OU)
    Organization Unit
    Enter the name of your organization unit.
    Organization Name (O)
    Organization Name
    Enter the name of your organization.
    Locality Name (L)
    Locality name
    Enter the name of the locality where your organization is located.
    State Name (ST)
    State name
    Enter state name where your organization is located.
    Country (C)
    Country
    Enter the two-letter ISO code of the country where your organization is located.


  4. Click Save – the created key pair will be displayed in the table below.
  5. Click on the created key pair and in the Working with keys section click on the button Upload CSR.
    Depending on your browser settings, you may see a message asking you to open or save a file in CSR format.
  6. Save the file.
